Dubai - Endless Luxury

A short 3 night break to Dubai enabled me to visit a number of hotels and experience luxury like never before. This developing Arabic city is experiencing a huge development of new hotels & apartments which will continue for a number of years yet. The most important piece of advice I can offer to anyone travelling to Dubai on a holiday is to stay at the Jumeirah beach area of Dubai and definitely book a sea view room. The building work in Dubai continues 24 hours a day and so a good night sleep cannot be guaranteed if you've taken a 'land view' room! The main reason of my trip was to stay at the 3 week old newest luxury hotel built on a man made island - Atlantis The Palm. On arrival at the 5* hotel, I was truly amazed at the vastness of the hotel.
Over 1,500 rooms, 17 restaurants, a waterpark, dolphin bay (where you can swim with dolphins!) Ambassador Lagoon (65,000 marine animals swimming in placid waters around you). The list goes on!

Whilst in Dubai I also took a jeep desert safari which was great fun.
Another amazing hotel I had the opportunity to visit was the Royal Mirage, an amazing hotel, smaller than the Atlantis and a spectacular hotel for a honeymoon!

The wonderful weather was most welcome too, October - March is an ideal time to travel to Dubai as the temperature can hit over 40 degrees from April onwards!! Also the holy month of Ramadan should be taken into consideration when planning a trip to Dubai.
Shopping is terrific in Dubai with all the well known brands there and the gold souk is worth a visit too!
My advise would be to go now before it get's too built up.

Remember - Live life, love travel!
