Japan to Singapore Cruise

Embark on an adventure through some of Asia’s scenic countries onboard Royal Caribbean’s Quantum of the Seas. Immerse yourself in the vibrant and rich culture of Japan before visiting the cosmopolitan cities of Taipei, and Hong Kong. You will also experience Nha Trang and Ho Chi Minh in Vietnam before completing your trip in Singapore.

You will begin your trip in the vibrant city of Tokyo where you will stay in the Shiba Park Hotel for 3 nights. You can visit Tokyo’s iconic shopping district of Harajuku where you will find a range of unique, classy, and traditional fashion brands. You can also visit the ancient Senso-ji Temple before experiencing the lively centre of Shibuya.



After you depart Tokyo, you will spend your first day on the Quantum where you will be spoilt for choice with the range of activities on board. Enjoy a relaxing adults-only retreat in the Solarium with its soothing whirlpools and refreshing water mist or if you want something more action-packed you can try out the Flowrider - a 12-metre-long surf simulator overlooking the stern of the ship.



On your third day you will arrive in Japan’s unofficial cultural capital, Kyoto. Explore the golden halls of Kinkaku-ji Temple before visiting the Zen temple of Ryoan-ji, known for its stunning rock garden. Don’t miss the Fushimi Inari Shrine, known for its rows of ten-thousand red torii gates and you can’t leave Kyoto without trying some local cuisine like sashimi.



Your next three days will be spent onboard the Quantum, where you will get to explore one of the 18 dining venues on board, indulge in a Mediterranean and Californian infused meal at Coastal Kitchen or enjoy hot pot at Solarium Bistro; there’s something to suit all tastes and pallets on board. You can use this time on board to enjoy a refreshing drink with a 360-degree view of the ocean at North Star Bar or try your luck in the onboard casino, Casino Royale.



After three days of cruising, you will arrive in Taipei. Enjoy the coastal terrain of Ho Ping Island Park before visiting the Buddhist Temple and the statue of Guanyin, the Goddess of Mercy in Zhongzheng Park.



Your next destination after a day at sea is Hong Kong. You can view the Hong Kong skyline from Victoria Peak by taking the Peak Tram which offers a stunning scenic view of the metropolis below. Visiting the fishing village on Repulse Bay offers the chance to get away from the hustle and bustle in a scenic seaside walk and through some of Hong Kong's famous street markets. No trip to Hong Kong would be complete without trying one of Hong Kong’s traditional dishes like dim sum, steamed buns or dumplings.



The first stop in Vietnam is Nha Trang where you can enjoy a gondola ride over the sea to the island of Hon Tre with its flawless beaches and crystal-clear waters, perfect for snorkelling and diving adventures. When in Nha Trang, you can visit the ancient Po Nagar Cham Towers before heading to the hot springs and mud baths at Thap Ba for an afternoon pampering yourselves.



Your last stop in Vietnam will be the iconic city of Ho Chi Minh City, rich in culture and historical sites for you to visit. You can learn about some of Vietnam’s history at the War Remnants Museum and take a trip to the Cu Chi tunnels to experience firsthand how the Viet Cong transported and communicated during the war. You could also take the opportunity to explore the 130-year-old Saigon Zoo and Botanical gardens or explore the vibrant street food markets that Ho Chi Minh is famous for.



Finally, you will arrive in Singapore where you will depart and spend your final night in the Parkroyal Collection Marina Bay. As it's your last day, why not indulge in the hotel’s spa, visit Raffles for some world-famous Singapore Slings or the thrills of Universal Studios on Sentosa Island. Singapore has something for everyone.

Price is based on 2 people sharing a Standard King (room only) for 3 nights in the Shiba Park Hotel, Tokyo City, an Ocean View cabin for 13 nights onboard the Quantum of the Seas by Royal Caribbe-an. Included in the price, is for 2 people sharing an Urban Deluxe room in the Parkroyal Collection, Marina Bay for one night. Return flights from Dublin, private car transfer to & from the airport on arrival and full board including gratuities onboard. Flight departs Dublin on Friday 11th October 2024.
