Imagine sitting with your friends and family one year after your wedding. You’re talking about your big day, showing photos and exchanging stories. Then it comes time for the honeymoon pictures. Instantly you’re taken back to that time. You remember the dance you had together under the stars on a clear moonlit night. You recall the smell of the tropical flowers that were there waiting in your suite, a welcome gift from the hotel. To have these kinds of special memories, your honeymoon has to be unique and unforgettable.
You spent months and months planning your wedding. It was more work than you ever thought was possible. You juggled making the arrangements while working and you smiled while you did it and never let your stress show. Now, it’s time for the fun part: your honeymoon. It’s the first holiday you’ll have as a newly married couple. It’s an important beginning to the rest of your life together. It’s an investment in your future. Consider the possibilities.
Book a trip to South America where you can learn to dance the tango in Buenos Aires, sample fine wines in Chile, and hike to Machu Picchu in Peru. Or live the good life in Tuscany by renting a villa in the countryside and hiring a car. Shop the local markets for wonderfully fresh bread, cheese, and olives that you can snack on during an impromptu picnic among the rolling hills. Perhaps you’d like a culturally rich honeymoon, spent exploring the temples and ancient sites in Thailand, then spending the night at a five-star hotel that caters to your every need.
Remember that honeymoons don’t have to be a once-in-lifetime experience. Couples today take second honeymoons, third and fourth, too. You can renew your vows at many resorts that will take care of the planning for you. Celebrate your anniversary, not with just a holiday, but a honeymoon, to make it even more meaningful. Your Travel Counsellor can show you how.

Although Barbados is a relatively small island there is much to explore so you should consider renting a car during your stay. There's so much to discover about this island - from the historic homes and buildings, to underground caves. You will see tropical flowers and breathtaking landscapes and seascapes. Take a tour of the local towns and villages to truly experience Bajan life!!
Barbados is one of the most relaxing places I have been to and yet so much fun. You can while away the hours sipping cocktails at the beach or spend your day doing something adventurous like a jeep safari, swimming with the turtles, scuba diving or even a tree top trek and for the golf lovers, there's always Sandy Lane.
The people are friendly, fun loving, warm and they love to party. They made our stay a memorable and very happy one.
When the sun goes down in Barbados, the fun continues! Barbados nightlife is extensive and varied, providing entertainment for every taste, from historic dinner shows... view full story
