Holiday Destinations

Africa view

This spectacular Continent offers adventure and natural wonders. Take an early morning trip via hot air balloon over the grasslands to see a bevy of wildlife, shop the markets of Tunisia, or sip your way through the world famous vineyards of South Africa, cradled between the mountains and the ocean. Imagine the excitement that awaits you there.

Australia & New Zealand view

These two nations are wonders down under. Australia packs plenty of spectacular scenery in one fantastic package, ranging from the stunning Great Barrier Reef to the stark beauty of the Outback. Its close neighbour, New Zealand, has the great scenery, too, plus wild adventures like bungee jumping. For pure vacation fun, these countries are tough to beat.

Canada view

From east to west, Canada is home to some of the most spectacular natural beauty on earth. Head to the Pacific coast to hike through ancient cedar rain forests, or go to the edge of the Atlantic to see whales and icebergs. In the north, it’s the spectacular natural phenomenon, the Northern Lights that illuminate the night skies. Every corner of the huge country is ripe for discovery.

Caribbean view

Mix sun-drenched islands with a dash of Europe and you’ve got the Caribbean where every destination is a bit different from the other. Aruba showcases its Dutch heritage, while Antigua has a French and Spanish feel. No matter where you go in the Caribbean, the islands all have one thing in common – fantastic beaches, sunshine and warm hospitality.

Central & South America view

It’s hot in Central and South America, and we’re not talking about the temperature. These destinations are emerging as sizzling, popular holiday spots. Unique eco experiences, stellar wine and food, and pristine historical sites are attracting a new generation of travellers who are willing to go a bit further for something truly special.

Europe view

Somewhere in Europe, the sky is blue and the sun is shining. Perhaps on a patio where you can sip a glass of wine and look out at the Mediterranean Sea, or over the hills of a tranquil Greek island? Spend your days lounging on the beach and feeling the warmth of the sun on your skin. Wouldn’t you rather be there?

Far East/Asia view

Interest in Asia has never been so great. The doors are open for you to explore its many treasures, from the Great Wall of China, to the temples of Angkor Wat. But here you can do so much more with hands-on holidays. Take a Thai cooking class, learn to meditate, or study Tai Chai with a master. Asia offers the exotic adventures of a lifetime.

Indian Ocean view

This is the place where some believe paradise can be found. They may be right, with exotic settings in the Maldives, Seychelles, and Mauritius, rising up the ocean. Get off the beaten path to destinations that still feel untouched by time, covered with lush forests, waterfalls, and secluded lagoons. You may find that perfect holiday here.

Middle East view

The heat-seeking Irish have Dubai and Abu Dhabi at the top of the list for winter sun, golfing and shopping. Sand and surf come in a regal package that brings together the best of the Middle East and Western culture.

North America view

Chances are you have some of North America’s top attractions on your must-visit list. Are you in the mood for an adrenaline rush at Walt Disney World in Florida, or perhaps the high-octane action of Las Vegas? Maybe it’s the unspoiled beauty of the Grand Canyon that is calling you, or the bright lights of New York City? There are so many perfect holiday options.

Travel Counsellor: Mary Foyle

It is quite a while since anyone asked me to quote for a holiday to Bali. It seems to have disappeared off the radar during the past few years. We chose Bali as we had a preference to visit an Eastern country and most of the other countries eg Thailand, Malaysia and Vietnam were right in the middle of the rainy season. Bali was everything we had hoped for – lovely hotels, fantastic long stretches of white sandy beaches, fabulous sunsets, great restaurants and bars and most important of all, lovely people. The Balinese were friendly, gentle and courteous and not a bit pushy when plying their wares. Our first stop was Legian Beach and our hotel... view full story
